Skirt is the manageable, fashionable, stylish dress where you can customize your length, color as well as design. Its can fit in all places like your home to workplace or a casual party or an interview day, your presentation day  you can easily choose a skirt with a shirt or a top. Every type of design and length can make you different with your personality.

Skirts can be a good outfit for a baby, girl and also for women.

What are the different types of skirts?

There are many types of skirts, now I am going to talk about those types:

A-line skirt: 

A line skirt looks like A shape or delta shape. Its narrow on the waist part. It’s the most popular for formal look .

Pencil skirt:

 

The skirt of this style is highly coveted among professional women who work in a business casual setting.it is a very straight and precise hemline that narrows from the knee downward.

Pleated or accordion skirt:

 

this type skirt can reach in the knees or above, and it has many designs like inverted pleat skirt, sunburst pleated skirt, boxes pleat skirt , Knife pleated skirts and accordion skirts.

Wrap skirt:

Wrap skirts have an elegant look which fold over the body, overlapping and securing with ties or buttons.

Denim skirt:

Denim skirts come in a variety of shapes, but their rich historical significance merits them their own design category. I personally like to buy their own design products.

 

Fitted Skirt:

As its name suggests, this skirt is accurate fitting from the waist to the hips, around the body. This skirt is also used in formal dresses. Its another name is Tube skirt.

Tiered skirts :

Those types has multiple layers with many different sizes of fabrics. If it has 3 layers. Upper one  is 5 inches , then the second is 10 inches and the third is 15 inches of fabric. It’s very fit for a young girl or baby girl.

Godet skirt :

 

it is triangular-shaped panels of fabric (known as godets) inserted into the hemline, giving it a flared silhouette.

Divided skirt :

 

it’s a diver that means it has 2 parts like pants . It’s also called skirt palazzo.

 

Ballerina skirt:

A skirt that ends at mid-calf level is called ballerina skirt. Its very suitable for ballerina dance.

Broomstick skirts:

they were very popular in the 1970s and 1980s. It has a high length . Nowadays it’s come back and become popular again. Young to old everyone can wear this types. Broomstick can give you a style vibe, so what is your age is just a number, go get a broomstick skirt.

 

Tulip skirt:

I bet that you see and like tulips. Sure! So it’s the style and  shaped like an upside-down tulip.

Bubble skirt:

it fires in the waist but in the end part with knees it looks like a parachute or bubble.

 

 

Miniskirt.:

In the 1960s,this type was made and got popular by Dress designer Mary Quant. Its has a hemline in the knee area.

Flared Skirt:

It looks like a more  align skirt but it’s more short and wide in the end part than a line skirt.

 

Gored skirt:

its other name is petticoat skirt. It has 6 parts and the upper part is match narrow and fits with the waist. The lower part is equal.

Maxi skirt :

It’s the most popular for home outfit. Its has many lengths which almost touch the floor. And light-weight floaty fabrics like linen, georgette, cotton, chiffon, are used for making this.

 

Sarong skirt:

 

A sarong skirt is crafted from a lengthy piece of fabric that is wrapped and fastened around the waist, creating a distinctive style.it can be fitted in the beach or pool times.

 

Dirndl skirt:

 

A dirndl skirt is a traditional folk garment originating from Germany and Austria. It typically features a full and wide skirt with a tight waistband.

 

peplum skirt:

A peplum skirt combines the form-fitting silhouette of a pencil skirt with a mini flared skirt attached over the top. This distinctive design tends to cycle in and out of fashion trends quite rapidly.

 Asymmetrical skirt :

An asymmetrical skirt derives its shape from the varying lengths of its bottom hemline. Typically, one side of an asymmetrical skirt is shorter than the other is longer.

Balloon skirt:

The balloon skirt is characterized by a fitted waistline and hipline, while the fullness at the hem is gathered into a band, similar to a bubble skirt.

Customize skirt:

Apart from those skirt, designers are customizing the skit according to latest fashion , they always contrast or fusion this item. Few of my clients always expect for me to make a design for them. So I am also interested to make a different one. What about you?
