Snack Bag making : Easy stitching!

Are you looking for an easy project for beginning your sewing project?  Or you need a snack bag for carrying out its for you or your baby. Its very easy, which can’t spend your more valuable times. And you don’t have to buy a luxurious fabric or waste your money. You can reuse your leftover fabric which you have in your home. I can bet that in every house they have some clothes, which they bought but didn’t see anything.  So firstly, you have to look and find out your fabric. Then you have to take some tools for doing your project.

Here’s the list of tools:

A piece of fabric  

A measurement strap

A ruler

Few pins 

A machine or you can use your hands

Thread

A button or a zipper.

A chalk

So Let’s begin the project!

You have to confirm which size bag you will make first.

If you have standard measurements, you can follow this:

(two parts 5″ x 12″ pieces for snack bags.

First of all, you unfold your fabric on a flat place, like in a table or a floor.

 

You use your Measurement strap for the height and length mapping and use colorful chalk for marking

Pinning: you can stick your cloth with 4 pins to avoid it shrinking.

Adding marks: you can use your ruler for scaling and adding your marking. 

Cutting: then by keeping 1 inch extra fabric in all the borders, you can cut your fabric according to the line+1 inch extra fabric line.

Folding: you have to fold both sides.

Joining: You can use an electric machine or hand stitch for sewing.  Sew both lines on both sides.  You have to be concerned about every edge and corner. Of course you have to sew in the inner part. 

Outer part: if you turnover your inner part and get the outer part.

zipper: if you want to add a zipper for locking your bag or stitch a button, it’s up to you. 

So it’s the snack bag for you.
